Pro-Belting International GmbH & Co KG of Schauenstein, Germany, is about to launch several innovations for protective clothing.
Perched on the riverside, Jeffrey spent days taking sketches of the dismantling operation, then used them as a template to create an oil painting.After years of lying derelict and vandalised, the stunning mansion is now a visitor centre after being restored by Gateshead Council to its Victorian glory and lures thousands of visitors each year.They're joined by former US president John F Kennedy in a display fused by the retired welder. The show, which runs throughout August, features a mix of 37 paintings lovingly created by the 66-year-old.Our archive photographs were taken in the 40s and show women of 'all types and classes' training or carrying out labour on behalf of the war effort during the Second World War.
